This project was developed over the course of a summer through numerous digital iterations. A one bedroom one bath summer retreat with a huge off-center courtyard. Operable translucent wall panels dissapear into the light shaft above. This is achieved with a similar system to the rollup shutters seen in most New York City shops and storefronts. However the shutters here are made of translucent fiberglass. Most days the panels are hideen and a quite breex flows through the house.
