This ‘class model’ was developed to help explain more advnaced casting techniques in our ‘Transitional Geometries’ class at Columbia GSAPP. Its unique geometry allowed the single module to be flipped and rotated in any direction to form a more random organic pettern.
Numerous digital and physical prototypes were made, the final being fabricated on the CNC as two parts.
