We developed this module to test a dynamic façade concept. A single distorted fluted column interfaces with adjacent modules at the base and cap. When one module is rotated the space between the columns shifts across the length of the assembly.
This could have both sculptural and practical applications. One could imagine a façade that can dynamically respond to wind, or sun. This module cold also be stacked or rotated horizontally and work in a similar manner, further expanding formal possibilities.
